The following instructions are intended to help evaluate the effectiveness of BIOLOGIC™ SR2 on its ability to remove odor from your sludge/biosolids and/or wastewater.
What you will need:
Procedure:
- 1Fill each pail half full with sludge/wastewater. Designate one pail as the Test Pail and the second pail as the Control Pail.
- 2Fill the cap of the 100 ml/3.4 oz bottle with BIOLOGIC™ SR2 and distribute it over the surface of the contents of the Test Pail only and mix both pails vigorously. (only a small amount of product is needed)
- 3Do not add product to the Control pail.
- 4Seal the pails and wait 15 minutes.
- 5Open the pour spout in each lit and using a portable H2S meter, measure H2S head space concentrations in each pail through the hole. If no H2S meter is available, observe the odor by nose.
- 6Re-seal, the pails and repeat the H2S/odor test every 15 min for one hour.

Simply spray liberally onto the surface of the odor causing material and then monitor for odors. (This is a diluted version of the industrial strength BIOLOGIC™ SR2 used in full-scale facilities).
Do not spray on fabrics as SR2 is a plant-based product that may stain.
